Dr. Vasundhara Kaul is a strategic consultant, educator, trainer, and mental well-being practitioner with over two decades of experience spanning the corporate, education and development sectors across India and the UAE.

As a Founding Partner at Carpediem EdPsych Consultancy LLP, she leads the organisation’s learning, capacity-building, special education, and strategic consulting initiatives, working with corporates, educational institutions, and other organisations to strengthen people's capabilities, leadership, inclusion, psychological safety, well-being and organisational and learning cultures. Her corporate work spans leadership development, emotional intelligence, DEIB, workplace well-being, gender sensitisation, PoSH, conflict management, communication, inclusive workplaces, psychological safety, and culture building. She has worked with organisations including Accenture, CGI, Cummins India, ITC Ltd., IDFC Bank, WRI India, Saviynt Technologies, J M Baxi & Co., PVR Controls, 5 Paisa (IIFL), Indira IVF, Mat Healthcare and DK Publishing, amongst others.

Vasundhara brings a distinctive business-education-behavioural sciences perspective to her consulting practice. Before moving extensively into education, training, mental well-being and organisational consulting, she spent over a decade in the banking sector, culminating in her role as Vice President – Assets, Small & Medium Enterprises Division at HSBC. Her experience across corporate banking, relationship management, business development, and training gives her a strong understanding of organisational realities and continues to inform her approach to people and capability development.

An important dimension of her work is workplace dignity, personal safety and gender equity. Vasundhara serves as an External Member on Internal Committees across diverse industries, supporting PoSH matters and inquiry processes with procedural rigour, sensitivity and an understanding of organisational context.

Her work extends beyond compliance and case management to prevention and culture-building. Through PoSH awareness and sensitisation programmes, she facilitates conversations around consent, professional boundaries, respectful workplaces, bystander responsibility, gender dynamics and personal safety. Combining legal and procedural awareness with education and behavioural understanding, she supports organisations in building workplaces characterised by dignity, respect, safety and greater gender equity.

Alongside her corporate practice, she works extensively with educational institutions, educators and leaders across professional development, pedagogy, assessment, social-emotional learning, educator well-being, career development and institutional capacity building. She also leads Carpediem’s special education and inclusion initiatives, including its resource rooms and learner-support offerings.

Her work in special education is guided by a Design Thinking approach, understanding the learner and context, identifying barriers to participation and learning, and designing responsive, practical and sustainable interventions. Drawing on perspectives of learners, families, educators and institutions, she focuses on individual needs rather than labels. Her qualifications in Special Educational Needs and Design Thinking, together with her interests in pedagogy, inclusion, neuroscience, innovation and mental and emotional well-being, continue to inform this work.

A committed lifelong learner, Vasundhara holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Mumbai, an M.Ed. with a Gold Medal, an MBA in Marketing & Finance from the Goa Institute of Management and NET (Education). Her interdisciplinary professional learning includes Master Trainer certification from the European International University; Neuro-Linguistic Programming Business Practitioner; Master Trainer – Teaching, Training & Developing Professionals from Training Qualifications UK; Green Belt Certification in Career Counselling through UCLA Extension & Univariety; and a Certificate in Teaching Gifted & Talented Children from ICEP, Europe. She also holds qualifications in counselling, training and development, instructional design, special educational needs and digital marketing, and is trained as a DiSC Trainer.

Across these different strands of her work, Vasundhara’s focus remains on creating learning and organisational ecosystems in which people are enabled to develop, participate, feel included and thrive.
