Clinical Psychologist (RCI Licenced)
Pooja is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and can be best described as a learner, who is willing to unlearn and relearn. She has been associated in the field of psychology for almost a decade through studying and exploring the field of psychology. She takes a therapeutic approach that helps her honour the individual as a ‘whole’ not designed for a standardised approach.
It is rooted in psychodynamic and humanistic schools of thought and sh is well-versed in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy and Mindfulness Based Therapy. Along with therapy, she also does assessment and workshops catering to different needs of the clients. It helps individuals build connection between mind and body and allow to give that intuitive spaces to reclaim and expand feelings of safety and connection to self. She strives to build better therapeutic relationship based on trust, authenticity and with ethical practice.
She has worked with varied age groups, predominantly with adolescents and young adults, with depression, anxiety, OCD, Bipolar disorders, trauma, personality, Addiction and Schizophrenia as well as caregivers’ burnout.
She believes every individual has their personal resources and its the work of therapist to help them explore their resources for better living.
