This comprehensive course equips teachers with the knowledge and practical skills to understand child development, recognize developmental variability, and foster inclusive classrooms where every learner feels a sense of belonging. Participants will learn to use systematic observation, screening, and informal assessment to identify students' strengths and emerging needs while understanding their role and ethical boundaries in the early identification process. The course introduces evidence-based inclusive practices, including Differentiated Instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and classroom strategies that support diverse learners. Teachers will also develop skills in designing targeted academic and behavioural interventions using the Response to Intervention (RTI) framework and monitoring student progress effectively. By the end of the course, participants will be better prepared to create supportive, equitable learning environments that promote the academic, social, and emotional success of all students.
